Thank you for visiting, let me introduce myself…

I’m Heather and I’ve been married to Jonathan for over 28 years. I’m currently a full time home educating mum to our son, Nathanael, and loving every minute of it.

We’re based in Stoke-on-Trent in the UK and I’ve now lived here longer than anywhere else.

I love following God in this gift called life.

Back when I was 20, I finally yielded my life to Jesus, having initially prayed and given my life to Him when I was 16.

Not long after, I asked Him what I had missed out on in those four years when I was saved, but didn’t follow Him.

His answer was, “Getting to know Jesus and having Him formed in you.”

Another time, I asked Him, “What do you want me to do?”

He answered, “Be with Me wherever you are, wherever I put you.”

For me, being a disciple; being with Him in all seasons and circumstances; seeking to get to know Him and have Him formed in me in all things in life, is my greatest passion and joy. It’s what I live for.

Whether it’s been in journeying 18 years of infertility, two miscarriages, and then giving birth to my son Nathanael aged 42; being a wife and mother; or in selling advertising, establishing training courses for young people and helping to birth media initiatives, my first focus in all these things is Him and positioning my heart and life in line with those two things He said to me when I was 20.

Writing has also been a big journey between me and God. My hope with this blog, is to share something of my discipleship: what I learn of Him, how I’m changed, and what He says and does in my life as I seek to follow Him.

I offer it to you, in your journey of following Him.
